The Guilded Image is a unique process utilizing ink and varnish on translucent vellum over gold or silver metal leaf. This hand crafted method of image creation is a labour intensive process and, because the metal leaf adheres differently each time it is applied, every image is visually unique. These images have an exquisite patina and their small size, invites the viewer to experience them at an intimate and personal level.
