Overcast skies lead to beautiful, low contrast light which is my preferred lighting when photographing landscapes. I still approach my image processing with the same focus on minimalism that I did in the darkroom and I do my best to avoid over-processing. I dodged (lightened) slightly, the sitka stump to help separate it from the background and added contrast overall to make the image pop. That’s about it.
